Note: General Meetings – Meet in Nicholas Wood Memorial Library at 5.30pm for tea/coffee and biscuits. The paper commences at 6.00pm prompt in the Lecture Theatre. Papers should be approximately 40 minutes in duration with 15 minutes for questions.

Stephenson Locomotive Society Lectures

The Society presents a regular programme of lectures on a wide variety of railway-related subjects.
Their meetings are held in the Lecture Theatre of the Mining Institute on alternate Friday evenings from September to early-May with brief breaks for Christmas and Easter.
All meetings commence at 7.00pm for 7.15pm and finish by 10pm. A collection is taken to defray expenses.
Visitors are most welcome at all meetings.
